The theme in practice
Safety, access and inclusion belong together
Accessible by design
Look beyond connectivity to the ways language, disability, age and digital confidence shape access. Explore services and learning experiences that more people can use.
Safe in everyday life
Connect online safety with real experiences: harassment, scams, privacy risks and the protection of personal and organizational information.
Inclusive in participation
Bring community experiences into research and policy conversations, so that digital opportunities are not limited by gender, age or social circumstances.
The five sub-themes recognise that online risks are not experienced equally. A child navigating social media, a woman facing harassment, a senior citizen assessing a payment request and a community organization protecting sensitive information need different kinds of support. The summit connects these experiences rather than treating internet safety as a single technical problem.
