Confirmation process
How session places are confirmed
Registering creates your account. You then register for each session separately from your dashboard. No registration is confirmed automatically — organizers verify each one by hand.
What organizers check
- Your profile is complete and your identity and organization details are genuine.
- You meet any criteria for that session (audience fit, presenter status, accepted paper where relevant).
- Your registrations do not clash and you can attend the finalized schedule.
- Any requested information was provided before the published verification deadline.
- The session still has capacity.
Waitlisted vs. Not confirmed
Waitlisted is used only when your registration is otherwise eligible but the session is full.
Not confirmed is used when there is a clear reason it cannot be approved: unmet criteria, verification incomplete after the published deadline, or inability to attend the finalized schedule. The reason is always shown.
From waitlist to confirmed
Waitlisted registrations are ordered by the time they joined the waitlist, earliest first. When a place opens, it is offered to the next person with a response deadline (48 hours by default). Accepting changes your status to Confirmed. Declining or missing the deadline passes the offer to the next person. You are notified of every change in your dashboard.

An organizer is checking your identity, eligibility and session fit.
Organizers need something from you. Reply from your dashboard before the published deadline.
Your place in this session is confirmed.
You are eligible, but the session is full. You keep your place in the queue.
This registration cannot be approved. The reason is shown in your history.
This registration was withdrawn by you (or you declined an offered place).
